Serena Rehal

I joined Edenred in May 2023 after a communications career in both the retail and publishing industries. Outside of work I love to travel, where possible you will find my somewhere sunny, by the pool with a book in my hand! If I am not travelling, you will find me at home in my kitchen baking up a storm!

Career path and Current Role

I started my career working in retail, being the key communications link between Head Office and our stores. After this I ventured into the world of publishing which gave me an opportunity to learn and develop my skills in a different industry. I am now at Edenred as an Internal Communications and Engagement Lead. My main focus is to ensure that all communications within the business are aligned with the business goals and values whilst also ensuring that engagement with our employees is a top priority.

I love the people and culture here. Everyone is always so friendly and happy to help – even with the crazy questions I ask!

Best memory at Edenred

One of my best memories was the End of Year Live Event and Party for Edenred PayTech and Edenred Payment Solutions in 2023. It was the first event I worked on as part of the events team. It was a great day for all those who attended, with an afternoon full of business updates and quizzes, followed by our James Bond themed party. 

Favourite sport

I don’t follow many sports, but the one sport I have followed ever since I was young is Formula 1. Previously a Michael Schumacher fan, once he retired I have been an avid Lewis Hamilton supporter!
