Isaac Diaw

I joined Edenred PayTech 7 months ago as part of a rotational Finance internship. I'm 22 years old, raised in London and joined the team after studying Economics and Finance at Bocconi University in Milan. I am currently based out of the London office, and am also an avid fan of sports and music, particularly house music!

 

Career path and Current Role

My career path is still very young having graduated Bocconi University in 2023 and having some previous intern experience in data startup.  Being a rotational Finance intern at Edenred, I have been able to take on an extremely versatile role, working with multiple business units spanning from Projects and transformation all the way to FP&A. This has involved working on large projects regarding client credit limits, as well as working on budgeting and forecasting.

What makes you vibe

When joining the team I was extremely excited about the opportunity to enter the fast-growing payments industry and being able to learn from experts in the sector. My role although being quite varying has enabled me to see the bigger picture at Edenred PayTech, which is a data driven, hardworking and highly collaborative environment which aims at delivering the best solutions to our clients. What I love the most is being able to work in a challenging environment where I am tested every day and I can learn a multitude of different skills which allow me to be a more versatile professional and maximise my learning experience. Beyond the working aspect, Edenred PayTech fosters a very diverse, friendly, and helpful environment with everyone being keen on innovative solutions and considering everyone’s ideas.

Best memory at Edenred

The Christmas party. It was great to see all the teams that drive Edenred's success, as well as being able to meet and talk to many new colleagues.

Favourite sport

I have always been a sporty person, ranging from many years of Judo to playing Sunday league football! However, my favourite sport is Basketball as I played competitively in my teenage years and still play from time to time in a more casual setting.
